Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 10807:

Minerals Species: Prehnite.
Location of mineral deposit: O and G Industries Southbury Quarry, Southbury, New Haven County, Connecticut.
Description: Sparkling translucent pale-green prehnite microcrystals in interconnected spherical aggregates to 4.5 mm diameter fully crystallized all around. The crystal surfaces have a sugary surface due to minute crystal faces. Complete and undamaged except the contact where it was formerly attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 16x10x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: micro
Price: $16 (plus shipping).
