Minerals Species: Vanadinite on Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Mibladen, Atlas Mountains, Khénifra Province, Morocco.
Description: Translucent red vanadinite crystals on bladed barite crystal matrix. The vanadinite crystals are tabular, hexagonal form with lustrous crystal faces. The contrast of the red vanadinite against the white barite is very attractive. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 3.5x3x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-7 mm.
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
