Minerals Species: Grossular Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Jeffrey Quarry, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada.
Description: Double-sided specimen of lustrous highly-transparent brown grossular garnet crystals on gray matrix. The grossular crystals are dodecahedral form with trapezohedral edge faces. The crystals on the rear are the best, but there are fewer present. The crystal edges show minor chipping and wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x2.5x2.2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-7 mm.
Price: $48 (plus shipping).
