Minerals Species: Prehnite.
Location of mineral deposit: Interstate Route 80 road cut, Paterson, Passaic County, New Jersey.
Description: Large plate covered with yellow-green prehnite crystals in spherical aggregates up to 5 mm diameter. Areas between the prehnite crystals are coated with greenish-brown clay. The contrasting colors and large size make this an attractive specimen. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 24x17x6 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-5 mm.
Price: $250 (plus shipping).
