Minerals Species: Lazurite var. Lapis Lazuli.
Location of mineral deposit: Sar-e-Sang, Kokscha Valley, Badakshan, Afghanistan.(*From the TYPE LOCALITY where this mineral was first described.)
Description: Single crystal of dark blue lazurite, variety lapis-lazuli, in white marble matrix. The crystal is perfect: excellent deep color, smooth crystal faces with sharp well-defined edges. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 20 mm.
Price: $350 (plus shipping).
