Minerals Species: Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Paul Frank Quarry, North Vernon, Jennings County, Indiana.
Description: Group of golden calcite crystals on limestone matrix. The calcite crystals are rounded, complex, rhombohedral form with silky surface luster throughout. Two groups of calcite crystals are in parallel orientation, reflecting light of faces simultaneously. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x3x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 15-30 mm.
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
