Minerals Species: Barite and Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Thin white barite crystals up to 8 mm with minor yellow calcite crystals up to 3 mm on the rear. The barite crystals are translucent and have lustrous crystal surfaces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x5x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-8 mm.
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
