Minerals Species: Diamond (1.04 carat yellow dodecahedral crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Orapa Mine, south of the Makgadikgadi Salt Plains, Botswana.
Description: Transparent pale-yellow natural diamond crystal. The diamond is flawed internally, has dodecahedral crystal form with complex surface patterns on all faces that resembles a jigsaw puzzle (looks amazing under magnification). No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x5x4.5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 6 mm.
