Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Paprok, Nuristan, Laghman Province, Afghanistan.
Description: Gemmy green elbaite tourmaline crystal with striated prism faces and shallow pyramidal termination. The color varies from vivid green to nearly colorless at the termination. The crystal shows good color (not too dark). One rear edge is chipped.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 27x18x18 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 27 mm.
Price: $315 (plus shipping).
