Minerals Species: Opal (Precious Opal).
Location of mineral deposit: Menz Gishe District, Mezezo, Shewa Province, Ethiopia.
Description: Polished fire opal showing broad areas of internal fire ranging of green, yellow and red with gray matrix in areas. The fire opal forms in elongated tubes running through common opal. The rear of the specimen is common opal. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 23x19x9 mm.
