Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Momeik, northeast of Mogok, Mandalay Division, Burma (Myanmar).
Description: Glassy complex crystal of translucent pink elbaite tourmaline, variety rubellite, with rounded shape due to radiating crystals terminating into a smooth surface. Unlike earlier finds from this occurrence, the surfaces are smooth and lustrous. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 17x17x15 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 7-8 mm.
Price: $95 (plus shipping).
