Minerals Species: Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Jalna, 60 km west of Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India.
Description: Transparent single crystal of glassy barite with pale blue color mounted to acrylic display base (will remove upon request). Internally the barite shows a rhombic internal phantom zone. The crystal surfaces are composed of many smaller parallel faces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x4x1.3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 7.5 cm.
Price: $135 (plus shipping).
