Minerals Species: Spodumene var. Kunzite.
Location of mineral deposit: Nuristan, Laghman Province, Afghanistan.
Description: Two parallel crystals of pink kunzite (pink gem-grade spodumene) mounted to an acrylic base for display. The pink color is intense in the upper third of the crystals. One of the crystals has a flawless area that could produce a 12 mm faceted gemstone. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x1.5x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 6.5 cm.
Price: $250 (plus shipping).
