Minerals Species: Quartz var. Smoky-Amethyst Scepter.
Location of mineral deposit: Crystal Park, Beaverhead County, Montana.
Description: Scepter-shaped formation of transparent quartz with a 3 cm long stem of smoky quartz topped by a larger cap of pale pink-amethyst to smoky quartz with lustrous crystal faces throughout. Another scepter is attached to the stem near the bottom end. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7.5x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-4.5 cm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
