Minerals Species: Gold (crystallized) Weight:10.2 grams.
Location of mineral deposit: Eagle's Nest Mine, Placer County, California.
Description: Broad formation of bright metallic gold with sharp crystals, many with mirror-like surface luster. A small remnant of milky quartz matrix is attached at the base. Mounted to an acrylic stand (will remove upon request). Excellent crystallization! No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 28x28x10 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-4 mm.
