Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 37614:

Minerals Species: Wavellite.
Location of mineral deposit: National Limestone Quarry, Lime Ridge, Mount Pleasant Mills, Snyder County, Pennsylvania.
Description: Yellow-green wavellite crystals in hemispherical aggregates up to 7 mm diameter exhibiting radiating internal structure where the centers are exposed. The wavellite crystals show terminations when viewed under magnification. The crystals grew in a constricted vein preventing complete crystal development. Most visible crystals are complete and undamaged. Collected in 2006.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-3.5 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
