Minerals Species: Diamond (2.27 carat pale-gray parallel crystals).
Location of mineral deposit: Baken Mine, Northern Province, South Africa.
Description: Transparent pale-gray natural diamond crystal with a few minor carbon inclusions internally. There are actually two intergrown diamond crystals in parallel orientation, and the crystal faces have complex crystallization patterns all around. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8.5x6x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 6-7 mm.
