Minerals Species: Galena (distorted crystals) with Chalcopyrite on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Deveti Septemvri Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria.
Description: Distorted cubic galena crystals up to 15 mm on edge on matrix coated with translucent quartz crystals up to 3 mm long. There is a yellow metallic chalcopyrite crystal barely visible beneath the galena crystals. The galena crystals have silky luster. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x5x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-15 mm.
Price: $125 (plus shipping).
