Minerals Species: Diamond (1.03 carat pale-yellow octahedral crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Orapa Mine, south of the Makgadikgadi Salt Plains, Botswana.
Description: Transparent gem-grade natural diamond crystal with pale yellow color (Cape). The octahedral faces are modified by tetrahexahedral secondary faces. The diamond crystal is internally flawless. A great collectors specimen. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5.5x4.5x4.5 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 5.5 mm.
