Location of mineral deposit: Mount Vesuvius, Napoli, Campania, Italy. (Type Locality for Pseudocotunnite) Click here to see other minerals from Type localities.
Description: This is a piece off the type material found in 1872 of white pseudocotunnite on gray volcanic matrix. The specimen is mounted in a Euro-style acrylic display box for easy handling.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x8x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
