Minerals Species: Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico.
Description: Large bladed crystals of bluish-gray barite crystals with minor gossan matrix on the bottom. The barite crystals are in groups of parallel crystals with complex edges with many faces. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x7x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-35 mm.
Price: $35 (plus shipping).
