Minerals Species: Sphalerite and Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Shuikoushan Mine, Hunan Province, China.
Description: Double-sided cluster of transparent deep-red sphalerite crystals up to 15 mm mixed with colorless quartz crystals to up to 2 mm. The sphalerite crystals are highly lustrous and show good translucency throughout. Stands upright without additional support. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x10x6 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-15 mm.
Price: $250 (plus shipping).
