Minerals Species: Fluorite (rare botryoidal form) on Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Tekhdi, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Description: Translucent yellow-green fluorite in hemispherical formations up to 40 mm diameter on matrix of small colorless quartz crystals. The fluorite is actually transparent internally, but the dull outer texture conceals the inner clarity. No damage. Collected in 2007 from a new locality in central India.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 25-40 mm botryoids.
Price: $175 (plus shipping).
