Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 39142:

Minerals Species: Fluorite (rare botryoidal form) on Quartz var. Amethyst Geode.
Location of mineral deposit: Tekhdi, Madhya Pradesh, India.
Description: Large geode of purple amethyst quartz with three yellow botryoidal fluorite formations up to 50 mm diameter in one corner. One fluorite formation has a red (hematite?) inclusion just below the surface. The outside has been worked to reduce excess quartz. No damage. Collected in 2007 from a new locality in central India.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 19x18x9 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 12-50 mm botryoids.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
