Minerals Species: Chalcopyrite.
Location of mineral deposit: Flambeau Mine, Ladysmith, Rusk County, Wisconsin.
Description: Botryoidal formation of metallic chalcopyrite with orange-to-violet surface iridescence. A natural, shallow crack (not through the whole cluster) is on one end of the formation. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.1-1.0 mm.
Price: $150 (plus shipping).
