Minerals Species: Calcite on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Meshberger Quarry, Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana.
Description: Two intersecting transparent golden calcite crystals with remnants of limestone matrix on the bottom. The calcite crystals are scalenohedral form with terminations capped with a second generation calcite crystal. The smaller crystal has two tiny bruises. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #5780.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-60 mm.
Price: $75 (plus shipping).
