Minerals Species: Barite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cavnic (Kapnik), Maramures, Romania.
Description: Flat plate covered on one face with sparkling barite crystals. The barite is colorless (faint yellow tint) and is internally transparent with glassy crystal faces. No damage. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1926.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x6x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-10 mm.
Price: $32 (plus shipping).
