Minerals Species: Zinnwaldite (Siderophyllite-Polylithionite) with Microcline.
Location of mineral deposit: Morefield Mine, Amelia County, Virginia.
Description: Crystallized bronze-colored zinnwaldite mica with scattered fragments of green amazonite variety of microcline feldspar. Zinnwaldite is an obsolete mineral species between siderophyllite and polylithionite and only analysis can determine the species.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x8x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-4 cm.
