Minerals Species: Grossular Garnet with Muscovite.
Location of mineral deposit: Bindougou, Kayes Region, Mali.
Description: Translucent yellow grossular garnet crystals up to 4 mm across intergrown with greenish muscovite mica crystals up to 5 mm across and brown limonite-stained quartz matrix. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-5 mm.
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
