Minerals Species: Datolite with Calcite inclusions.
Location of mineral deposit: Charcas District, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Description: Translucent green datolite crystals up to 18 mm long with translucent white calcite crystals up to 1.5 mm wide included in the datolite. Some of the calcite crystals extend outside the datolite. A corner is missing on a lower datolite crystal . Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1906; originally acquired in 1978.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 0.5-18.0 mm.
Price: $32 (plus shipping).
