Minerals Species: Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Elongated cluster of slender, scalenohedral calcite crystals. The calcite crystals are pale-yellow color, internally transparent, and have silky surface luster. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5.5x2x1.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-32 mm.
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
