Minerals Species: Elbaite Tourmaline.
Location of mineral deposit: Dunton Mine, Newry, Oxford County, Maine.
Description: Partial crystal (both terminations are incomplete) of translucent green elbaite tourmaline with the classic Dunton Mine color. From the famous 1972 gem pocket where three amateur collectors found $30 million in tourmaline crystals.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 15x7x6 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 15 mm.
Price: $34 (plus shipping).
