Minerals Species: Howlite.
Location of mineral deposit: Sterling Borax Mine, Tick Canyon, Los Angeles County, California.
Description: Large white howlite nodule from the famous Tick Canyon find many years ago. This nodule has not been polished as many of the old specimens were. the howlite is dimly fluorescent under UV illumination. No damage. Ex. W. Frech collection #1431.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x4 cm.
