Minerals Species: Cassiterite and Quartz.
Location of mineral deposit: Viloco Mine, Araca District, La Paz Department, Bolivia.
Description: Lustrous near-black cassiterite crystals up to 7 mm across intergrown with translucent smoky quartz crystals up to 22 mm long. The cassiterite shows internal translucency with strong rear illumination. Most of the crystals are complete and undamaged, but a few around the periphery are incomplete.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-22 mm.
Price: $165 (plus shipping).
