Minerals Species: Witherite with Fluorite.
Location of mineral deposit: Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois.
Description: Large cluster of translucent pseudohexagonal yellow-gray witherite crystals in compound groups covering front, top and rear of the specimen with minor purple fluorite crystals around the edges. One of the largest Illinois witherite specimens I've seen. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 13x11x8 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 5-55 mm.
Price: $425 net (plus shipping).
