Minerals Species: Andradite-Grossular Garnet.
Location of mineral deposit: Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali.
Description: Aesthetic cluster of large and small dodecahedral brown andradite-grossular garnet crystals with clean, flat crystal faces. The edges show the outer 2 mm layers are translucent. The garnet here ranges from andradite to grossular. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 5x4x3 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 2-32 mm.
Price: $85 (plus shipping).
