Minerals Species: Diamond (4.17 carat gray-brown octahedral crystal).
Location of mineral deposit: Argyle Mine, Kimberley, Western Australia, Australia.
Description: Octahedral natural diamond crystal with glassy crystal faces that have complex crystallization patterns in the middle of the faces. The brown color appears concentrated along one face when oriented correctly. Minute internal inclusions are throughout. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 10x8x7 mm.
Size of individual crystals: 10 mm.
