Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 39890:

Minerals Species: Beryl var. Emerald.
Location of mineral deposit: Mengdong District, Malipo, Yunnan, China.
Description: Four slender emerald variety of beryl crystals running through limonite-stained quartz matrix. Three of the emerald crystals are fully exposed their entire length. The emerald is translucent but not gem-grade. Many smaller emeralds are on the rear. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x7x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 10-53 mm.
Price: $400 net (plus shipping).
