Minerals Species: Vanadinite on Fe-Mn-oxide.
Location of mineral deposit: Taouz, Erfoud, Morocco.
Description: Classic specimen of red vanadinite crystals on crystallized black iron- and manganese-oxide matrix. The vanadinite crystals are deep red color, internally translucent, hexagonal prisms with slightly textured prism faces. All crystals are complete and undamaged, except the outer edges where it was attached to surrounding matrix.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 8x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-7 mm.
Price: $395 (plus shipping).
