Minerals Species: Rhodizite.
Location of mineral deposit: Antandrokomby, Sahatany Votry District, Madagascar.
Description: Translucent yellow rhodizite crystal in smoky quartz matrix. About one-half of the crystal is exposed revealing lustrous faces. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 4x3x2 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 15 mm.
