Minerals Species: Calcite with Realgar inclusions.
Location of mineral deposit: Shimen Mine, Hunan, China.
Description: Large scalenohedral yellow-gray calcite crystals with red inclusions of realgar. The crystal faces on the front have a dull, etched luster, while the rear faces are highly lustrous. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 7x7x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 6-7 cm.
Price: $30 (plus shipping).
