Minerals Species: Wavellite.
Location of mineral deposit: Mauldin Mountain, Montgomery County, Arkansas.
Description: Hemispherical green formations up to 10 mm diameter of radiating wavellite crystals scattered over several sides of gray matrix. A good specimen, with excellent coverage, that stands upright nicely without additional support. Collected in 1970.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9x9x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-5 mm.
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
