Minerals Species: Opal (Precious Opal).
Location of mineral deposit: Menz Gishe District, Mezezo, Shewa Province, Ethiopia.
Description: Large circular precious opal specimen with the top polished to highlight the vivid green-orange-blue-red internal fire (play of colors) throughout. This is hydrophane opal and requires no storage in water.One of the best Ethiopian opals I have ever seen. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 54x54x12 mm.
