Location of mineral deposit: Menz Gishe District, Mezezo, Shewa Province, Ethiopia.
Description: Oval cabochon of flesh-colored precious opal with brilliant green-red-orange internal fire (play of colors) running throughout the opal. This is top grade opal from the leading local miner and is hydrophane opal which requires no storage in water. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 29x22x6 mm.
