Location of mineral deposit: Menz Gishe District, Mezezo, Shewa Province, Ethiopia.
Description: Oval cabochon of white precious opal with brilliant green-orange internal fire (play of colors) running throughout the opal. This is top grade opal from the leading local miner and is hydrophane opal which requires no storage in water. One of the best! No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 24x18x10 mm.
