Minerals Species: Calcite (twinned crystals on Quartz).
Location of mineral deposit: Nasik, Maharashtra, India.
Description: Transparent colorless calcite crystals on matrix of white quartz microcrystals. The calcite crystals are twinned resulting in complex shape composed two interpenetrant crystals with some faces showing etched texture. Note the internal phantom. No damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6.5x6x5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 6 cm.
Price: $125 (plus shipping).
