Minerals Species: Andradite-Grossular Garnet with Stilbite.
Location of mineral deposit: Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali.
Description: Lustrous interconnected brown-black garnet crystals (either andradite or grossular - both species occur here) up to 22 mm across with translucent yellow stilbite crystals up to 18 mm long. The garnet crystals are dodecahedral form with flat faces. The crystal faces are clean and in good condition, the outer edges show minor wear.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x6x3.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 3-22 mm.
Price: $45 (plus shipping).
