Detailed information on mineral specimen No. 40209:

Minerals Species: Calcite on Calcite.
Location of mineral deposit: De'an Mine, Wushan, Jiangxi, China.
Description: A single scalenohedral calcite crystal 45 mm long overgrown with a second generation of flattened rhombohedral calcite crystals up to 45 mm across. This is the best and largest specimen of this unique find that I obtained. No damage to the crystals on the front of the specimen, but the rear shows minor damage.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 6x4x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 1-45 mm.
Price: $195 (plus shipping).
