Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Pakistan.
Description: Large crystal of deep aquamarine variety of beryl with minor white albite matrix attached in a few areas. The crystal has excellent color and internal clarity with areas that are gem-grade and could produce large gemstones if faceted. Though the crystals are clean and in good condition, a few edges show minute nicks upon close inspection, but they are minor compared to the relative size of the specimen.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9.5x5x4 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 9.5 cm.
Price: $4500 net (plus shipping).
