Minerals Species: Beryl var. Aquamarine.
Location of mineral deposit: Shigar Valley, Skardu District, Baltistan, Pakistan.
Description: Large crystal of transparent aquamarine beryl with no matrix attached. The aquamarine crystal has clean, glassy crystal faces and flat pinacoid termination with two small conchoidal chips on the rear edge. Internally are chatoyant silky zones.
Overall size of mineral specimen: 9.5x3x2.5 cm.
Size of individual crystals: 9.5 cm.
Price: $2450 net (plus shipping).
